Carter at the age of 22 is fast becoming one of Australia`s premier Urban artists, with 4 hit songs already featured on radio including the top 10 hit "Light It Up". Currently performing in front of sold out crowds in clubs and stadiums there is nothing this artist has not been able to do.
In january 2012 Carter was also selected to be the support act for International R&B superstar Lloyd who will be touring Australia on his "King Of Hearts" tour.
Carter, at the age of 21 years old was voted the 2010 “Urban Artist of the Year” award by Star Central. Carter started writing music early in his life at the age of 13 which seen him slowly move into the Urban scene.
He started recording his own music within his bedroom at a young age and releasing 2 free mixtapes online through social networks and blogs across the world. Shortly after the release of his second mixtape he was asked to be a support act around Australia to perform in late 2009.
After rounding up the tour Carter returned to Sydney to focus on his first studio album. Still working on his album Carter released his first official single titled “Never The Same” featuring U.S R&B crooner Maskerade. The video premiered on YouTube quickly climbing to the top 5 most watched video of the premiere week competing against the King Of Pop Michael Jackson’s new single.
After the success of “Never the Same,” Carter released his commercial R&B hit “Just Me & You” which was produced by E. Dan (ID Labs) the highly anticipated third single “Welcome to My Life” was highly received on radio which featured Boston’s very own J. Lye & Sydney’s Imelda Monique. Beginning on a promotional tour in 2011 Carter performed infront of crowds of up to 22,000 people during a NRL pre game show & also travelled up and down the NSW coastline with DJ T@$K.
With his debut studio album almost complete with thanks to executive producer E. Dan of ID Labs Sound Worldwide & production from others such as T3k Productions, DJ Shaw-T & Scarecrow beats assisting, Carter has linked up with artists such as Erica Brandalise, Jay Daniels, Imelda Monique, Maskerade & J. Lye. With a date yet to be announced Carter's debut studio effort looks to land Early 2012 with a groundbreaking new sound to the Australian music market.
