Cud are a three piece band based @ Tamborine Mountain. Cud are an acoustic pop three piece playing mainly originals and a few covers. Formed in March 2001 the band have since gone on to record their debut six track C.D. "Summer of Cud". Their style of music ranges from rock to jazz ballards under the penmanship of Ben Swinburne.
Ben - (guitar/vocals) has been playing guitar for twenty years. After playing in ska and reggae bands in Brisbane he moved to Lismore where he studied contemporary music at the Conservatorium of Music as a vocal major. After completing his course he moved back to Tamborine Mountain to teach guitar. He also started and is the musical director of the Evolution Choir.
Matt - Bass - Matt has been playing bass for three years. Matts melodic style of playing blends well with the finger-picking style of Ben
creating the grooves within their songs. His acoustic bass fills their songs with his fret skills.
J.B. - J.B.'s style of drumming ranges from jazz to rock to funk, infact any style you could probably name. He is the master of chops and improvisation. A drummer not to be missed.
