Founded by bassist David Attard in September 2010 - 40 years after The Doors' heyday and the unfortunate passing of the group's iconic front man, the late Jim Morrison, five devoted and professional musicians from Melbourne came together to form Morrison Hotel - The Doors tribute show.
After a long audition process the five members that now make up the group have recreated something special - a tribute show that captures the true essence of 60's psychadelic rock era, optimised by the band that changed the face of music forever and redifined a generation. Morrison Hotel - The Doors tribute show complete with costuming and a stage show that encompasses the unique and complete Doors experience, will ensnare and hypnotise it's audience with a wildly sporadic, spirited energy in true Doors style. Collectively the five members have countless hours of live stage experience from tribute acts, coverbands and original bands taking them across the country and internationally.
Morrison Hotel is a full costume show and consists of 2 hours of The Doors' finest music. Performing so many world wide hit singles such as Light My Fire, LA Woman, Roadhouse Blues,Riders On The Storm, Touch Me, Break On Through and many more... This show is sure to 'set the night on fire!'
