All the songs performed by Jalsa Creole are in the French Creole language. Sega has its roots in the days of slavery in Mauritius. Sega music. Today Sega is still very popular among all age and cultural groups that make up the melting pot of the island of Mauritius. You could not imagine any party without sega in Mauritius!
