On vocals we present our Swing Diva's, Bonnie Smith and Kimba Scorpecci. Bonnie is currently studying at the VCA, and recently returned from a study tour of Cuba, where she leant many of the sizzling Latin tunes that are featured in the band's vast repertoire. Bonnie also fronts a successful original group who are quickly becoming the talk of the Melbourne. Let Bonnie's gorgeous soaring voice liven up your venue! Joining Bonnie to front the band is the sultry, velvet tones of Kimba Scorpecci. Kimba has been seen in many jazz and cabaret venues around town, delighting crowds with a sharp wit and a lush sound. As well as appearing everywhere from The Kitten Club, The Evelyn and Dantes as well as at many corporate events, she has also been a guest artist at Club Med - Indonesia and the Saxophone Pub in Bangkok over the past few months.

On horns we are proud to have 3 of Melbourne's leading players - Donnie Stewart on Trombone, Richard Bums on Trumpet and Dr Russell Praetz on Tenor Saxophone. Jazz aficionado’s will know these cats from every hot spot in town - from Bennets, Dizzy's, The Laundry, The Night Cat, Copacabana Club and more. Th e horn section of Shamdoogie is a joyful thang - spirited, soulful and swingin'! If you are lucky you might even catch one of these chaps crooning a few tunes as well.

Ryan Griffith, our guitarist, is certainly a busy young player, stepping out in a number of jazz and soul outfits around Melbourne. He is known for his cool licks and performative style, and has recently added a few vocal tunes to the mix. Ryan can be seen at many venues around town including Young and Jacksons, Purple Emerald, The Basement cafe and morel He has also recently returned from being a guest artist at Club Med - Ria Bintan.

On the drums we present the wonderful Rory McDougall. Rory is a graduate of the VCA and has played in stacks of jazz and classical ensembles. He is the drummer with fantastic jazz group Vada, as well as lending Shamdoogie its pacey, swingin' vibe with his amazing chops. Rounding out the Rhythm section is Michael Meagher on Double Bass. Another student of the VCA, Mick is involved in a number of fantastic groups that keep him on his toes. He is well known on the jazz circuit and has played everywhere from Bar Open to Dizzy's and back again!

Shamdoogie have got the recipe for swing sounds hot and cookin'. The band has played at many venues including The Kitten Club, Dizzy's, Dantes and The Amazing Speigeltent during Melbourne Festival 2002. With a larger horn section and many new tunes Shamdoogiee are ready to jump, jive and wail - and entice the crowds to Keep coming back for more.
