Introducing Kate Dowman – Soprano, whose angelic voice is a pleasure to the ears whether singing opera, early music or lighter material.
Kate has sung internationally at numerous high profile events in the and recordings for national radio and television in Europe, including the Aussie anthem at THAT football match in London when beat !
Kate has won numerous awards for her vocal talent and is talking with some high profile producers about some exciting recording projects.
This young British singer is currently training in Sydney and so is occasionally available to sing at corporate/private/charity functions and concerts around Australia/Asia
Critics have said 'This is a beautiful, pure tone which lends itself to both early music and Opera equally well', 'a fragile but beautifully warm soprano sound', 'I hear something very special in this voice'.
Kate has already been booked to sing with some of Sydney 's most highly regarded vocal ensembles in the next year including 'Cantillation', 'The Renaissance Players' and St Mary's Cathedral. Kate also has some exciting recording projects underway.
Teachers include Rita Cullis, Pippa Dames-Longworth (WNO), Paul Wade (Opera North). Currently training with Patricia Price in Sydney .
