Future Native is an established, multi-dimensional, acoustic driven band from Queensland, Australia consisting of Patrick Creamer (vocals and guitars), Melanie May (bass, mandolin, violin and vocals) and Scott Phillips (drums, percussion and vocals). Their sound has been described as a modern blend of emotionally charged and thought provoking anthems. The current single Superman, off their 2nd album 'The Politics of Love', is building momentum globally and is now receiving airplay in over 20 different countries. The band has just completed a very successful second tour of the UK , Ireland and Germany, where they are now building a solid fan base and attracting industry offers.

Hailing all the way from the Hinterland of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, Future Native is on a mission to spread their unique acoustic-driven musical vision to the world. Having already made a name for themselves in their homeland, this band of accomplished folk-rock musicians believes that only through exporting Australian art overseas, can Australian artists expect to further their horizons. Turning their attention to Europe, Asia, and The US, Future Native looks to do just that; bringing their modern blend of emotionally charged and thought provoking anthems to the uninitiated across the globe.

Following the success of their debut album, Rusty Rocks, which features international radio singles, “Protest Song” and “Your Backyard,” Future Native is proud to announce the Revelation Records release of The Politics of Love, distributed by MGM. The first single from the album, “Beauty,” is a socially and culturally conscious love story whose video has been gathering national attention. Critically acclaimed in Europe following a successful tour of the UK, The Politics of Love delivers a passionate and rootsy sound so infectious it sold out and had to be reprinted before their return home! Now, after turning heads at 100’s of shows throughout the globe, with highlights such as the Glastonbury, Woodford, Byron Blues & Roots, and Wollumbin Festivals, Future Native finally now ships their high energy show further overseas to the United States.

Future Native is fronted by award winning singer/songwriter, P.J. Creamer, on vocals and guitar. With a voice that has been described as uplifting & emotive, Creamer’s experience and credibility in the entertainment industry as a producer, songwriter, and performer continues to grow with each project he puts his hand to. On bass, violin, and mandolin, Melanie May is considered by many in the industry to be a master of vocal harmonies. She uses her classical training in voice, violin and piano to round out the Future Native sound. Also contributing to the band as a co-writer, she is completing her final year in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in both music and film. N.I.D.A graduate, Scott Phillips, grew up in a show business family. A world class percussionist having played with many well-known acts, Scott adds a rich third harmony to Future Native’s polished vocal style.

Drawing upon each member’s individual strengths, Future Native creates a sound too big for a trio, something truly greater than the sum of its parts. They continue to leave a wake of enthusiasts wherever they travel, and their soulful acoustic sound is right at home in America, Australia, or anywhere good folks enjoy good folk rock music
