Welcome to the Smooth experience!

Smooth was created by a group of musicians who share a love of good music and the excitement of performing in front of an audience that also enjoys the music that we play. As a thirteen piece band, Smooth has the ability and the opportunity to play many pieces that are not an option for smaller bands, and makes the most of this to bring a full sound throughout their repertoire.

Smooth has played at many functions throughout Perth, Albany, Geraldton, Kalbarri and Kalgoorlie, with their performances being met with enthusiasm wherever they go. Smooth has played at weddings, where their extensive repertoire allows them to play not only at the reception, but during the ceremony as well.

Smooth regularly performs at many venues around Perth, including the Harp in Belmont, the Mundijong Tavern and The Lynwood Arms. The band has also played at The Earl of Spencer (Albany), Denmark Tavern, Gilgai Tavern in Kalbarri and at many other country venues. As well as this, Smooth performs at parties, balls and corporate functions around Perth, and was involved last year in a joint production with Armadale City Concert Band. This dinner dance evening was so successful that a repeat performance has been programmed for 2003.  This dinner dance evening was so successful that a repeat performance has been programmed for 2003.

Smooth celebrated  the New Year at the Palace Hotel in Kalgoorlie, and  made a return visit (for the third time) to Albany for Australia Day. Thanks to all of you who travelled from Perth to support us!
