History has perfected an anticipated performance of electric dance music featuring the steel drum and percussion. Jahbutu are colourful, vibrant and exciting playing the hottest sounds of calypso, some funky Ragga reggae beats and afro/latin tunes, classic covers and favouites from todays current music. Jahbutu pull big crowds dedicated to energentic dancing but can contrast this with a background aureal feats for the dedicated listeners.

Alvin Rostant is responcible for bringing the steel drum to Australia and continues to wow the crowds with his amazing skills and velvet smooth voice. Alvin toured the world with the Cavaliers and since making Aust his home has played in all the major venues Australia wide, Expo 88, Warana,MCG, Bathurst V8 to name a few. Headlining at festivals like Gladstone, Woodford,Childers and Hamilton Island are regular fixtures for Alvin.
Trix hails from NY,USA and is Australias premier percussionist. He toured extensively with Roberta Flack and in Aust has played with Tim Finn,Marsha Hines and Tommy Emmanuel.
Paul studied guitar at the Melb Conservitorium and has also perfected the steel drum.
