Tom Walton is an accomplished, award winning Chef and Entrepreneur. His interests and knowledge extend beyond food into his life, where he lives and breathes his passion for health and fitness, lifestyle and wellbeing.

Growing up in the Blue Mountains, from a young age, Tom was inspired by his Lebanese neighbour, an adopted grandmother, who introduced him to the Middle Eastern world of cooking that he fell in love with. His youth was spent with her in the garden and kitchen – planting, foraging and cooking from a very young age.

Tom started in the kitchen in 2001 at age 17 and worked in the then 2 hatted regional restaurant in the Blue Mountains – Darley’s. In 2005 he represented Australia in Finland at the WorldSkills International competition for cooking – taking 3rd place in the world against 24 countries. That same year he started with 2 hatted restaurant – Bistro Moncur in Sydney where over the next 6 years he honed his French technique leading the kitchen as head chef.

In 2011 he opened ‘The Bucket List’ in Bondi with business partners, after 8  successful years Tom has also branched out with Deus Camperdown and most recently Nudefish Poké takeaway eateries. Tom is also sought after as a consultant to restaurants across Australia.

In 2012 Tom created Dux Nutts. As a Chef and avid health nut, he wanted a wholesome and delicious gluten-free muesli to power him through his busy lifestyle. Stocked across Australia and exporting overseas.

Tom has leveraged his creative skill set into content for brands and businesses where he styles, photographs, creates recipes for food & beverage brands in the retail and food service space.
