This is an installation piece, ideal for the early part of an evening, or in a sheltered environment.
The mermaid reclines on a table surrounded by artefacts from the ocean. She is open and inviting and gestures to guests to come to her to receive a small shell as a gift. She does not speak but tones enchanting songs. The Guardian, in comparison, is stern and protective. He is mobile and sometimes moves out to invite guests to come to the Mermaid. Both characters are non-verbal. The piece is accompanied by the sounds of Ocean Drum, Rain Stick and Singing Bell.
