The Perky and Fiddle Show
The Perky & Fiddle Show is a street theatre act featuring a pair of garden gnomes in wheelbarrows, who escape the garden and become outlaw gnomes. The performance is best described as a mix of comedy, street theatre and puppetry.
Perky and Fiddle are unhappy with their humdrum, predestined existence. After spending many years watering the flowerbed, their dream of a wild and glamorous life grows ever stronger. In an unexpected moment they run off into the wide world of bike races, police chases, can-can dancing and explosive endings, to defy the stereotype of garden gnomes forever!
The show takes approximately 20 minutes, and runs on batteries and is therefore very mobile and a variety of locations can be used. It is highly visual, non-verbal, and operates on many levels, appealing to both adults and children.
