FINDING YOUR CLOWN: From 1 hour to all day.

Emphasis: Differs for each age grouping. Junior Primary: Dress-up and respect for the "nose", walks, voices and 'tricks'. Can include some basic circus skill development if desired. Primary: Comic stage business, walks and voice building on their own personality, dress,-up. Secondary:: Character building processes, dress-up, pairs scenarios, theory related to Commedia dell arte and lazzis. The workshop includes notes.

CIRCUS SKILLS WORKSHOP
Year level: Years 3 to Secondary Length: From 1 hr to a full day. Emphasis: Differs for each age grouping. Consider using the circus workshops in conjunction with a performance of "The Whisperers". Trevor and Grant con present a program in which students learn the basics of circus skills in the morning and then view the performance in which fellow students perform their new skill within the context of the story. Primary:.. Balance, juggling. unicycles, slack rope, assorted other skills, ensemble scenarios. Focuses on team work, quality and perseverance. Secondary:: As above but with more challenging options and street theatre as an emphasis.
