At this point Luke Graham of Point Cook joined the band to fulfill the need of a 2nd guitarist, as the result of the bassist and 2nd guitarist just before the 2nd heat for the Wyndham battle of the bands.

The Wyndham battles brought Unframed Mind to a mainstream audience, in which had the best crowd participation.

After this event the band played in an assortment of gigs with a host of differing bands and styles.

Unframed Mind were invited to play the Pony's 5th birthday celebration in which Unframed Minds style of 'A corrosive blast of death metal' stood out from an assortment of jazz, funk and instrumental acts whom preformed, The pony awarded Unframed Mind the prize for 'Best up and coming band'.

At this point Unframed Mind began recording drums for their upcoming E.P 'The Cage of Internal Delight Expelled' (not as yet finished) and sold a variety of merchandise.

When the western regional finals approached, the band released a self produced live recording C.D in under 24 hours entitled 'Antemortem' which featured audio and video as this was the prelude to the E.P.

The regional final was splendid with great talent and Guild of Destruction putting on a great show, whom we played at the arthouse with a week later.
