The Psychedelics

The Psychedelics are a fabulous band, unlike any other 'covers' band in the marketplace. The Psychedelics are an amazing and authentic tribute, to the ‘psychedelic / Woodstock’ eras, of the late 60s. The band covers classic rock songs, from great bands from the USA, UK and OZ! These include songs from: The Doors, Deep Purple, Cream ,Hendrix, Steppenwolf, Small Faces, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, Vanilla Fudge, Easybeats, Alice Cooper, Crosby Stills, Led Zeppelin, Animals, Kinks, Free, Creedence, and many many more. An awesome 'psychedelic' stage set up, along with quality lighting and sound system, creates the perfect setting, for the band to stage, this mind-blowing show!

The band will take you on an amazing journey, back to a time that praised love, peace and flowers in your hair. The show can consist of up to 3 x one hour sets; or, 4 x 45 minute sets. The Psychedelics can customise any length show requested, with timeless classic hits from an unforgettable period of musical creativity. The show is suitable to all ages, and will leave the audience, wanting more!

The Psychedelics was conceived during covid lockdown, in 2021, out of a love for music of the late 60s, by the Bass player, Garry Pearsall. He then recruited other members, with the same passion, and The Psychedelics, became a reality, in 2022. 

BAND BIOS

*Anne Tolovae (aka, Anneeebeee) - lead vocals. Annie has a magnificent and powerful voice and is an accomplished singer / songwriter, with years of experience, and is excelling as the lead vocalist for, The Psychedelics.

*Greg Willis – guitar / lead vocals - Greg is a very experienced guitarist, having honed his skils over many years. Greg also takes a lead role in vocals; he has a powerful voice, to complement, Annie's. Greg did a four year stint at, The Observer Hotel, in The Rocks, with, "Acoustic Saturdays". In recent years, Greg has been a member of: Itchy Brother, Mad Cow, Desperate Houseblokes and Rock Dogs. He also excels in his job with, The Psychedelics.

*Ruslan Osmonov - Classically trained Keyboardist who is an amazing musician who gets the 'big' John Lord Psychedelic sounds to compliment the bands huge sound. Has played Jazz, Classical, and Rock and now brings his incredible talent to the Psychedelics! 

*Garry Pearsall – bass - Garry has been playing since the 1970s, and has played with many bands over the years. Garry plays vintage Peavey T40 Bass Guitars. Garry is the founding member of, The Psychedelics. Garry has a wealth of experience and is a 'rock solid' bass guitarist.

*Brendon Venner _ Brendon is one totally amazing drummer who has been likened to the likes of Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker! He has played in a multitude of cover/tribute bands over the decades. Another amazing musician of high calibre. Together with Garry they form a rock solid foundation for this unique band.  

Over the last four or five decades, The Psychedelic, members, have all honed their skills as musicians; each having made significant contributions to the 'OZ' music scene.
