The Pantastic Steelband has been thrilling audiences throughout South East Queensland for the past 10 years with it's uplifting, exciting Caribbean-style music. Unique within Australia, Pantastic is the only professional steelband of its size playing authentic Trinidadian steelpans (a.k.a. steel drums). Think of the Caribbean and you think of coconut trees, sandy beaches, fine rum and steelband music! The rhythms of calypso, soca and reggae are irresistible to your feet....the music quite literally exudes sunshine and laughter.

Covering authentic Trinidadian calypsoes, latin favourites, jazz standards, pop tunes and a some originals from our creative players, Pantastic's repertoire is guaranteed to please just about everybody. With 10 years performing experience together, we know what works and what doesn't.

Pantastic is perfect entertainment for festivals, markets and large private or corporate functions. The visual and aural spectacle of Pantastic make us ideal for events where the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment. Audiences spontaneously dance along to the 'happy, sunny' music that we create. Additionally, when required, Pantastic can be a roving 4-7 piece band, giving us a distinct advantage over most conventional bands. Because steelpans are loud acoustic instruments, we can generate sufficient volume to rove without amplification.

Pantastic has performed at most of the major resorts, events and festivals of SE Qld as well as for numerous private and corporate clients interstate, including: Novotel Twin Waters (Sunshine Coast); The Hyatt Regency (Coolum); Noosa Sound Cruises; Sheraton Hotels (Noosa and Gold Coast); The Gold Coast Indy; Brisbane Multicultural Festival; The Brisbane Bridge Festival; Woolongabba Cricket Ground (during West Indies cricket team matches); 50th Anniversary of the famous Tied Test between Aust and West Indies (Brisbane Convention Centre); Crowne Casino, Melb. (special function to honour West Indies cricket captain, Brian Lara); Federation Square, Melb; Bundaberg Multicultural Festival; the famous Eumundi Market (6 years of regular performances); Jupiters Casino (Gold Coast); and many more.

So, if you're looking for something really special, different and musically exciting, then Pantastic must be considered.  If it's an authentic Caribbean sound you're after, Pantastic captures "The Colourful Sound of the Caribbean&quo
