Experienced lead vocalist Fiona Balthasar has performed in many high profile venues as a successful solo artist and in some of Melbourne's premium cover bands. Fiona has also worked as a lead singer in original bands, recording CD's, filmclips and touring music festivals. Her exceptional voice will have audiences captivated. Dean McKeown provides solid backing on guitar and vocals. With many years experience playing in some of the most sought after acts in NSW, QLD and VIC, Dean's powerful acoustic playing is second to none and a perfect complement to Fe's stellar voice. Providing the backbone for the group is rock solid drummer Scott Maxwell. The exceptionally talented Scott has performed in many bands around Melbourne and is also a highly sought after drum teacher.
Combined they have entertained at thousands of gigs across the country, at pubs and bars, weddings, parties and corporate functions. Urban Groove’s blend of outstanding vocals and dynamic rhythm section creates a versatile sound that can be adapted to any audience.
