In 2009, a record-breaking 4 million Australians tuned in to watch Julie Goodwin become the first ever winner of ‘MasterChef’. Viewers loved her honesty, sense of humour and humble cooking style. Her family-focused style of cooking and ‘mum next door’ persona made has turned her passion into a hugely successful career, with six successful books, TV, Australian Women’s Weekly column for over 8 years, radio co-host for 3 years and many successful partners and appearance throughout the nation. In 2014 Julie opened her cooking school ‘Julie’s Place’ on the Central Coast in NSW this is where she is focusing her energy on now.
