Elena found her love of dance at a young age and grew up with music and movement playing a big part of her life. She went to her first Belly Dance class in 1995 and found inspiration in her instructor
Mohsera who supported her along her dance journey to becoming a well-known and sought after instructor and performer in Ukraine, and after a couple years of performing and teaching Elena started to introduce classes for children in oriental dance which had never been done before in Ukraine and it became so popular, eventually leading on to her touring the world with her young students competing in dance championships.
Then when Elena was 24 yo , she decided to leave her job as a successful and highly paid Accountant in Odessa ,Ukraine and devote all her time to her passion of dancing, much to the dismay and bewilderment of her parents and family who very much against it , but so great was her desire to teach and dance full time that nothing would change her mind
And over the course of Elena’s over 15 year career she has gone on to win many prestigious International belly dance competitions in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Italy, Egypt, UAEa and Australia and has had the chance to teach, dance and learn throughout the world.
To this day she regularly travels overseas to perform by special demand in countries like, Dubai, Lebanon, Turkey and Egypt.
Elena is also an accomplished event hostess. She hosts popular workshops which have run annually for the last ten years in Dubai and Egypt . Elena has planned many stage shows, Workshops, and gala events for her students and corporate clients. She has hosted national and International belly dance workshops and gala shows .Elena is also a model and worked in Film and Television as an actress locally and internationally.
However Elena has made Melbourne her home since 2011 and she still is teaching belly dancing to beginners, Intermediate and advanced dancers privately or in group lessons.
Elena is also available as a solo performer or with her troop of dancers, for weddings and corporate events, She is very competitively priced ,professional ,honest and friendly to deal with.
