As a cabaret performer, burlesque Master of Ceremonies, voice over artiste and vaudeville Maître D', Magnus Danger Magnus believes he has the greatest job in the world. His cheekbones, baritones and crowd-frenzying stage antics have taken him all over Australia and abroad, MC-ing for some of the globe's most famous and talented burlesque, circus and cabaret stars.
Reviewers are calling him "...a compere beyond compare", "the liquid caramel voice of reason" and "the world's second best MC... and climbing".
Some recent highlights include the Perth International Burlesque Festival, A Saucy Little Secret at Melbourne Cabaret Festival, New Year's Eve at the Northbridge Piazza and the musical production Werewolf Priest! The Lamentable Ballad of Hank Grimby.
Magnus' improvisation skills have to be seen to be believed. He as an arsenal of excellent voice over characters, as well as several hosting characters including Baron Frauhausen (a ringmaster), Dr Barry Umenema (a mad scientist) and Sammy Poopenmeyer (a crass nightclub owner).
