Djarlo (Aboriginal Dance Group)

Djarlo is an Aboriginal danced group formed from 3 brother boys from different walks of life.

The word Djarlo is a Nunnuccle word form Menjirabah also known as North Stradboke Island which means Fire.

Fire is a strong a staunch element which was used in everyday life, In Aboriginal culture fire left impact and bought people together as a meeting place. This is the same principles that we want to represent with
our dance group. We bring people together with our high impact modern traditional style of didge and dance and we leave people with a performance like no other. With our world-renowned Didgeridoo player Ganga Giri and two dancing brothers with twenty years of dance and culture experience Djarrin and Barama, Djarlo will leave you knowing more and wanting more.
