Jack Ziebell is a tough inside midfielder who hails from Wodonga. Jack whom boarded at Caulfield Grammar split his football commitments in 2008 between Caulfield’s APS side and the Murray Bushrangers, whilst also representing Vic Country at the U/18 National Championships.

Jack is also an AIS Academy graduate where he has benefited from the tutelage of AFL greats such as Michael Voss, Nathan Buckley, and Jason McCartney.

Jack who possesses great skills especially in his ability to hit targets with both feet, also encompasses a great natural to lead both by example and actions, as he is a highly motivated and mature young man whom gets the best of himself and those around him.

After being taken as a Round 1 selection in the 2008 draft, Jack believed he was destined to move interstate to the Brisbane Lions, however as the Draft unfolded Jack slipped into the Kangaroos hands where they were rapt to get him and could not believe that they got the chance to snap him up.

In trying to put the big expectations aside, the Kangaroos and many avid AFL followers believe that Jack will play regular footy for the Kangaroos in 2009. For Jack though he knows that there is a lot of hard work ahead.
