Richie Robinson has worked as a full-time guitarist since the age of fourteen. In that time, he has toured Australia extensively, playing thousands of shows with some of the country's best known club performers, including;

  • The James Bros - Jazz, Funk & Blues Guitar (The James Bros have been  noted as one of Australia’s most popular duos for many years)
  • Popular touring vocalist Dino Jag - Acoustic Guitar
  • Catherine Lambert - Jazz & Pop Guitar, and Musical Director
Richie is known for his ability to play bass, chords, melody and percussion simultaneously on the acoustic guitar, making him the perfect choice as a soloist, or as part of a duo with another instrument or vocalist.
Richie is also known as a passionate instrumentalist on the electric guitar, covering styles from Jazz to Funk, Rock, and Blues. Richie's heartfelt and dynamic, performances have had audiences coming back time and again all around Australia.

Currently, Richie directs a number of duos and ensembles that are collectively known as "Richie Robinson's Jazz Kats". The duos and ensembles utilize some of the finest Jazz & Blues musicians available Australia wide.
