Harry Edwards (guitar) and Isaac Gee (double bass) explore the interaction and improvisation possibilities of acoustic guitar and double bass in this small ensemble.

With a very ‘open’ sound, this sensitive duo mix some of their favorite jazz standards with original duo compositions, and instrumental/improvised interpretations of popular melodies. This duo is perfect for any event, and our we have enough repertoire for several hours of performance.

This ensemble can customise their performance to suit your needs, and can provide up-tempo/medium/slow swing numbers, delicate ballads, and interesting original compositions for your event.

“Harry Edwards and his various ensembles are amongst the most exciting musicians coming out of Tasmania. His grasp on traditional European music and its fusion with early jazz is superb, coupled with his increasingly unique writing I expect to see him emerge onto stages at WOMAD and the like in the next couple of years.”

– Dane Hunnerup (Artist Investment Panel Chair, Arts Tasmania)
