John Macdonald – Vocals / Guitar
Barnaby Smith – Vocals / Bass
Each member of Compound Fracture is a professional or semi-professional musician with a passion for live rock music and decades of combined performance experience.
Barnaby Smith on Bass is well known in the Sydney music scene
as a genuis on the bass guitar, he has a level of musicianship
only a few can ever reach, he has a portfolio of studio work
with many alternative original bands he has also
toured Australia supporting bands such as the
Cockroaches and Screaming Jets as well as hundreds of
local shows, he really is an amazing musician.
John Macdonald on Guitar has well over 1000 Sydney gigs
he has played with many gigging bands associated with
The Harbour Agency, although a huge Jimi Hendrix fan his
verstility and musicianship enables him to play everything
from Classic Rock to Jazz to Blues to Alternative and Country.
He has played with numerous small international touring bands
and at venues such as Selinas, The Airport Hilton,
The Canberra Hilton and other premier venues.
Tim McAlpin on Drums is also well known in the Sydney Music
scene, he is a lover of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and is a
very acomplished musician, he has played hundreds of shows
in Sydney wtih many different bands and is loved for
providing a fantastic beat and groove for bands to work off.
