Dave Miles
Rock, Blues, Soul & Classic Songs — Live!
Looking for live music that can set the mood for a relaxed afternoon or turn up the energy for a big night out? Dave Miles delivers the goods.
With a musical career that began at just 12 years of age, Dave is a seasoned live performer whose musical journey has taken him from Perth's vibrant band scene to stages across Australia.
Originally from Western Australia, Dave fronted and played an integral role in several Perth bands throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including WAMI award-winning Top 40 cover band The Zoo and hard-rock outfit The Jackals. After The Jackals relocated to Melbourne in 1986, Dave made the city his home and continued performing across Australia with a variety of bands and musical styles.
His sound blends rock, blues and soul, backed by expressive vocals and effortless guitar work. Whether providing the perfect soundtrack for a laid-back Sunday afternoon or bringing the energy to a Friday or Saturday night party, Dave knows how to match the music to the occasion.
A Repertoire Packed with Classics
Dave's musical influences span generations and genres. His road-trip playlist ranges from Paul Kelly, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Otis Redding to Steve Earle, John Mellencamp and Tom Petty.
That broad musical taste is reflected in his extensive repertoire, offering familiar favourites, classic rock, bluesy grooves and soulful songs that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
