We are The Dandy Jonestown Massacre.
A 6-piece Melbourne based band celebrating of the music of two iconic nineties bands, The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, both of which are still rockin today.
We are not a Tribute band where we take on the persona of the original band members, we just simply focus on playing their music as authentically as possible and giving the crowd a memorable experience.
We are big fans ourselves and live to recreate the psychedelic ear candy of these two seminal bands for audiences.
A main staple in the Melbourne music scene since 2016, having played some the best local venues including The Northcote Social Club, George Lane, The Tote, The Vineyard, residencies at the Union Hotel & Rainbow Hotels, and many others. We're a band that is made for live audiences and know how to get everyone groovin.
We typically play 3 x 45 min sets but can tailor our set lists and have in the bank almost 100 Dandy & BJM songs to choose from to create your ultimate Dandys and BJM set list for you gig or event.
