Woody’s World provides music and entertainment for young Aussie families. Growing up touring with his parents around Australia, Woody is continuing this tradition of sharing original music with Aussie kids and their parents. WOODY A gifted performer/songwriter/ musician, Woody loves to entertain kids and their parents with his ukulele and guitar. He is an experienced primary school teacher and outdoor education coordinator who has been inspiring his students for the past 15 years.
WOODY AND HERC SHOW Woody and his Alley Cat ‘Hercules’ (performed by Dave Splatt) have toured to ACT, Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria in 2015, playing at festivals, preschools and events, including Port Fairy Folk Festival, the National Folk Festival and art centres around Melbourne. The Woody & Herc Show is a culmination of the last 15 years, synthesizing Woody’s love of music, teaching, the outdoors and his work as a children’s songwriter and entertainer. Woody’s World also offers colouring-in sessions: Colouring in activities of the beloved Woody’s World characters (produced by internationally acclaimed illustrator Katz Cowley) from the Good Morning Kids album. Bring the kids for some quiet down time and allow them to draw and colour - all materials supplied.
WOODY'S WORLD FAMILY BAND This family band is a treat to behold. Woody is supported on stage by his three kids, multi instrumentalists/singer/songwriters who co-wrote and recorded on Good Morning Kids album. The wisdom of the band comes from “Poppa Knick-Knacks Clark” and “Mumma Kate” who bring 45 years as professional musicians criss-crossing the land. Special guests include some of Melbourne's best musicians!
