The Surprise Guys are a dynamic trio well versed in the element of surprise and song. Comprised of comedy duo Zalia Joi and Shannon Smith and classical singer Grace Johnson.
Having performed singing telegrams for over 12 years, surprise is something that they know well. Disguised as wait staff, the Chef is a “French” man who is terribly French. One of the Waitresses is in Love with Jean-Pierre who falls in love with the person who is the brunt of the surprise.
They are also able to be disguised as security staff and incognito guests! Upon cue they break out and sing hits from 50’s to current. The Trio are willing to learn favourite songs and also able to theme songs to the Clients request. There is a huge repertoire to choose from and available on request – ranging from Abba to Fleetwood Mac to Broadway hits and well known songs like “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast. The act are very big on audience participation and make sure everyone is uplifted, happy and entertained. Seasoned performers, The Surprise Guys utilise the magic of close harmony, comic timing and perform the songs to classy backing tracks.
