EXOTIQUE - An eclectic cultural experience combining the sublime sounds of live music of Pakistan and beyond with tap dance, circus, modern gymnastics and contemporary bellydance.

Four artists combine to create an event like no other fusing each element into a show that will entertain, astound and stir the soul. Award winning musician Farhan Shah and will provide the backdrop to take the audience on a journey through music, bringing traditional Sufi devotional sounds to the stage with a modern twist. Awarded five stars at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe for their “Sufi Music Party”, Farhan Shah’s soaring, ecstatic vocals draw upon centuries of tradition and mysticism with contemporary sensibilities. Complimenting him are his band of musicians who seamlessly blend age-old
technique with modern sounds for a truly transformative experience.

In an all-new setting, Farhan Shah’s music will be for the first time brought to life through movement with the talents of master aerialist, dancer & director Wendy Dys, who is joined by contemporary dancer and gymnast Delilah Dame, and tribal fusion belly dancer Kalikah Jade.

As a lifelong dancer, internationally acclaimed aerial artist, model and producer, Wendy Dys is a one woman powerhouse who has performed for the likes of Nick Cave, The Prodigy, Tex Perkins and Missy Higgins during her illustrious career. The former Sydneysider has toured China, Europe and Japan before settling in Adelaide where she teaches and performs at Adelaide’s premiere nightspots and festivals. With a background in modern ballet, gymnastics, Flamenco and aerial performance, Wendy is a dynamic and entertaining presence with a spectacular array of acts to enthral and amaze.

A performer of fabulous flexibility and curves to kill, Delilah Dame is a showgirl like no other. An experience aerialist, contemporary dancer and award-winning gymnast, Delilah combines her passions to create dazzling performances which showcase her impressive feats of strength, flexibility and artistry with exceptional beauty for an experience not to be forgotten. Performing alongside Wendy for over six years, Delilah has graced the stage of a number of festivals and events including the Adelaide Fringe Festival, The Port Rocks Festival and The Royal Croquet Club. A blonde bombshell with the polished grace of an elite athlete, Delilah Dame will leave you breathless.

Be hypnotized by the stunning sensuality and mysteriously slinky movements of Kalikah Jade, a bellydancer of fifteen years who specialises in fusing the ancient artistry of the dance with contemporary sounds. Kalikah Jade will astound you with her spectacular costuming, undulating hips and earth-shaking shimmies for an unforgettable belly dance experience. A unique entertainer known for her exceptional showmanship and killer hipwork, Kalikah has taught and performed across Australia, including at Adelaide Fringe, The Back to Back Cabaret Festival and Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival. She brings an earthy and dynamic presence to the stage with a decidedly dark twist which will delight, intrigue and entertain
