Vince Haines, Pop Magic, began to learn the craft and art-form of magic in the mid 1970’s in his hometown of Dunedin, New Zealand as a young teenager.
In the early 1980’s Vince joined the local magic society, the Otago Magic Circle and joined members in performing in Theatres, School and Council Halls and other venues.
The Otago Magic Circle was regularly invited to perform at functions, events and fundraisers throughout the Otago and Southland districts.
In addition to performing Magic, Vince performed in several operatic productions and also gained extensive experience “behind the scenes” as theatre mechanist and lighting operator.
This practical experience and also his observations of the human psyche enable him to mystify, enthral and entertain that is individually tailored specific to the event, theme or occasion whether performing
